When do you think The Show see's most players through the year

Really disappointed in this year's DD for several reasons already mentioned by countless others.
Got me thinking, what times of the year do you think this game has the most players? Does or should SDS plan their programs in DD with those stats?
I think def when the game is released in April it gets probably the most amount of players.
What about in the summer months? I think it probably falls off pretty hard after April. Just guessing , no idea really. Maybe by all star break some players get back and the playoffs. After the real season is over I doubt any casual gamers still play.
But would it be better if when they release the game, they give everyone the best programs/players? Only the die hards are playing all year March to Feb.
Wanted to hear some thoughts on this.

If all the best programs and players were released right at the start, even the diehards quit playing early. It happened in 18. The immortals were released in July and there was literally no point in playing the game at all after you had the immortals

Judging by the way the game plays right now, I wouldn't be suprised if the player base is at an all time low, Its hard to keep interest in alot of players who don't get rewarded for good swings and reward people swinging at every pitch by giving them weak bloop hits or foul balls 40+ times in one game
