One more out to go. It’s a 2-0 game. A bloop (or a hint, hell the game is still close enough to do that) and a blast can still tie it up. I know you’re getting no hit, but it’s still not over. If you’re going to lose, at least lose fighting, and if you’re going to get no hit, do it with dignity.

Sounds like you might have just been pitching cheese all game. I’ve only played 5 only games and people have quit each game

You didn't lose a no-hitter, you still no hit them and the opponent can't take that way from you just because it was 8.2 innings

True, I guess I should’ve said “completed no hitter.” Still sucks a little bit. I guess it’s no big deal, other than to my ego. Lol I need that ego boost though, been getting destroyed lately on both sides of the ball

Now you know how Mad B U M (censored for some reason) feels, threw a no hitter in an official 7 inning game but it didn't count because it was only 7 innings.

If it’s an official game, it should be a no hitter. I think he was a good commissioner, but screw Fay Vincent and his ‘91 rules committee for changing the definition

If a player has been no-hit for 8 2/3, they should be a man, or woman, I'm sure some play this, just take the loss, and learn from it.

What I guess the OP is trying to say is that he lost the total PxP points & overall game XP that could have been earned for that pitcher. If it the person would not have quit, then the OP would have gotten that extra PxP for a CG & a SHO & as well the extra added to the total game XP for having a CG, SHO & No hitter. The "quit" voided all those extras in PxP & total game XP.

Think of it as a no hitter called due to rain.
