I know I’ll never see World Series, I enjoy this years game so much, but I can’t even compete in the cellar anymore! There was some terrible game play last year, but man, it actually seemed fun. At the end of the day, it’s a video game. You have the higher levels for those guys who are bad ace at the game. But I’m not sure if it’s even fun for the average player online right now.

I think peoples experience will change with the release of more powerful cards, thats essentially why SDS toyed with hitting, if LS silvers were hitting everything thrown imagine what an SS card will do. I feel like the game will balance itself out with the release of better cards.

I have a tin foil theory to [censored] up with your thoughts. Haven’t aired it out yet til now, but yes. If Silvers are hitting absolute tanks, guys really have no need to upgrade. SDS wants money. So, in theory, if they make it seem as if upgrading your team to diamonds will have folks hit better, why not squeeze it to get guys to buy stubs to upgrade. I think in a couple weeks once the game has been out a month we will see a slight tweak to hitting.

I think balance is needed, regardless if it makes SDS money or not. Every game ending 25-20 with 45 solo hr's is boring as hell, its not baseball. There are plenty of arcade baseball games where you can do that, but those don't last because that [censored] get's boring.

Absolutely that first few days was rough, and I think for an average player like myself, that first hitting was too easy now I can’t seem to touch a thing unless these guys are piping them.

take a breath, take a day off, this games a grind and wears on you mentally. You then start pushing just out of sheer frustration and lose yourself at the plate, I took the entirety of the last patch off, even deleted the game. Came back after reading the latest patch notes and I am enjoying the game and hitting better than I have in the past 3 iterations.
