We all know that EVERY year he flirts with going Diamond.
Well, I finally decided to go with the flow and invested heavy in him and now see that he is on the IL and will be for the next 10-12 weeks. Which would me he won't even touch being moved up for the next 5-6 updates.
I'm assuming he also won't be knocked down a few points.
So, do I just sit on these cards I have for the next 3 months, which would take us into Sept, or should I just dump them now?
I bought all them for QS value so I don't think I would lose anything by possibly waiting.

I don't know how much "invested heavy" means to you, but let me answer your question with a question:
Why on earth would you have dead stubs sitting in your inventory for 10-12 weeks, and then still have to hope he makes the jump to diamond - after being out for so long - for your investment to pay off?I mean the answer seems pretty obvious to me.

I'm actually upset that he started as a gold and not silver. It broke the streak of him having a silver to gold upgrade, which happened every year since at least 17

I have about 500 of him. Yeah, that is alot of stubs to 'sit on'.
I'll have to check to see where he's at value wise when I get on and figure out the best way to sell them off.
