Directional Hitting
-
I'm an average player. Throughout the years, I've made world series once (The Show 18 and got a crappy Darin Erstad) and I can't seem to hit anymore with zone. The RNG in zone seems almost as prevalent as in directional sometimes with much less room for error. Has anyone had any success with directional on ranked? Even made WS? I don't think I can stand the inconsistencies with zone anymore.

I switched to pure analog halfway through last year and made World Series once. I switched to it for a little this year and went on a 5 game streak to get me through division series. I agree the inconsistencies are frustrating, I don’t really understand it because I thought zone hitting was supposed to give the user pretty much total control of what was going on but that’s not really the case most of the time. I find pure analog to just make the game a little more fun for me, rather than getting screwed on good user input and not wanting to play anymore.

I know there was someone on here last year saying he made WS using only directional.

I use it, it’s the best option if you ask me. The game looks better without that corny pci on the screen. You can definitely compete with other players using it.

Nah you can’t, maybe on all star but anything above that you’re going to top out at about .260
