Why are some players on the IL still so expensive? If they are not playing, shouldn't their cost go down some? Here is a list of highest Live cards with two examples of what I mean. Using Buy Now costs

    95 - Trout - 407k
    92 - Acuna - 224.6k
    92 - Tatis - 202k *Injured
    94 - Ohtani - 188k
    93 - DeGrom - 171.5k *Injured

Now I know players will get injured throughout the season. However, when the player is on a lengthy leave due to injury, their price can still be very expensive depending on the player. Active players get their rankings based on play, thus their value goes up or down. We saw this with Vlady Jr. He dropped a diamond tier, and his price dropped. Injured players are not playing, yet these expensive ones (Tatis and DeGrom currently) are at a level that will take a long, long, time to get unless we are able to pull them from a pack. So, I have an idea for this.

Currently there are "Free Agent" pages in the inventory section, and players get cycled in and out depending if they have been cut or DFA'd, etc. Why not have a "Injured List" page? Now currently there are four levels of IL that a player can go on.

    7-Day
    10-Day
    15-Day
    60-Day

With this, make four "Injured List" pages, one for each version of IL, and have these players listed in there. Now here's the catch. Since these players are not playing, their stats, and most likely their value will stay where they are. Let's change that with a percentage discount of the "Buy Now" value.

    7-Day IL - 7%
    10-Day - 10%
    15-Day - 15%
    60-Day - 60%

Now, 60% seems like a huge discount, and it is. However it will help game players along the way. For instance, Tatis is 202K stubs. At 60% we would still have to spend 80k to get him.
DeGrom is 171k. We'd still have to pay around 60k-70k. So why not make their cards more available to the people that need them? 80k-90k seems a lot more feasible to get, than 202k. We're already doing what we can to grind for stubs to get Trout, Ohtani, Acuna and more. Those three combined are almost 800k alone!

This would make these cards more affordable in the game, making game players happy, allowing the to further their collections they need without spending a ton of stubs for these players. That's just my idea to help the game be better for us players that are grinding away, but never being able to see that goal in the end of obtaining a Trout, or an Acuna, because we're just not making enough stubs, or the prices are just getting way too high.

Collections aren't supposed to be easy. Just think if it as you are paying for Randy, Frank, and Clemente and not Tatis and Degrom

I agree. It still wouldn't be easy, when you have Trout, Acuna, and Ohtani not on the IL and costing 800k stubs to get. That's just the top three non-IL ones. Hader, Ramirez, and others are expensive to get as well. There are a lot of non-live cards that are expensive that well. This was only an idea to help the current status. Not necessarily to give the cards away if that makes sense.

They are the most popular players in the MLB. Why are players like Rizzo and Salvey going for so much? People want those players cuz they are the ones them and their friends wanna pull and root for. High demand, regardless of injury status, dictates the price which can be manipulated by a how many and how often these cards are released. What is most profitable?
