I dont know who needs to hear this, but the Ovr on high diamond cards mean nothing. Ketel Marte is a 93 and is a top 5 card in the game. My goodness people this year just complain to complain, its babe freaking ruth the Saltan of Swat, and its May, we've never gotten a high diamond ruth this early into a cycle, give it a break all it is complaining and whining.

So the 93 Marte is as good as his finest from last year? You know, since overalls don’t matter, right? Marte is great because he is a) a switch hitter, b) SDS gave him the “right” attribute mix, and c) Marte has a (community decided) “good swing”. Even then, if Marte wasn’t a switch hitter no one would use that card.

The 93 overall comes from meaninless attributes being low, examples like durability, base running agg, Vision, clutch, Thats how they manipulate lower card overalls. You're just complaining to complain.

example they'll be 99's dropped in this game that no one will touch, 99 jeff bagwell for example last year, there were ASG/ topps now cards better than that garbage last year.

There was that Topps Now set that included Conforto that was insane last year
there was a topps now joey wendle last year that was a 97, that was virtually the same card as George brett. Except wendle was about 12k stubs

I agree that 91 Yelich is a beast and I couldn't hit better if his 99 came out tomorrow, only improvement would be fielding

I agree that 91 Yelich is a beast and I couldn't hit better if his 99 came out tomorrow, only improvement would be fielding
yelich was on my WS team. He hit a jack in my WS game yesterday!

Yeah me as well as a righty I cannot hit RHP for beans only guy I had success with was that 99 Betts card last year

Interesting. Never thought about that. Will have to check out the card.
He's also a great card because of his positional versatility. No other top-tier hitter can play as many positions fairly well like he can.
