Question about auto fielding in conquest and mini seasons.

When I play conquest and mini seasons I use the auto fielding feature. Am I missing out on XP by doing so? I also do it in March to October and have fielding opportunities turned off. Should I be doing manual fielding on
all of these for maximum XP gain? -
