MLB The show appears to have broken my monitor lol

I have 28" Nitro XV2 XV282K KV and I am playing the May POTM moments to get finished with them. I am doing the Duran moments and i heard my dogs barking loud outside, Lowery is coming to the plate so I pause the game. I come back and my screen is flashing very fast. I strike out the batter but the image of him on the on-deck circle was still on the screen. It acted like burn in, but I don't have an OLED, its a regular LED panel. I restarted my ps5 & monitor and that didn't fix it. I even switched to my pc and it was still on the screen. Now my screen won't stop flashing while playing mlb 22. So, not only is the gameplay bad, it also ruins monitors lol
I'm going to bed and will check it out in the morning. Hopefully it being off will fix it.
I'm not sure if its a PS5 issue or Acer issue. If someone can help me answer that question that would be nice!

I thought you flung a $70 controller at it.
I once threw a MLB The Show '20 preorder cap at one and destroyed the motherboard 🤪 -
I am assuming you tried unplugging everything for about 60 sec and replugging in? If you can factory reset your monitor after that I would try that. But first just try the power down by shutting off and unplugging from the wall.

I unplugged it and waited and now the static image is gone, but while loading into the moments it flashes with that image instead of it being on the screen lol.
This is whack man, this monitor is $900 lol

I bought it in Sept of last year so i sure hope so. I'm just not sure why it happened. It's never done that before.

I would probably go a few days and see if it works itself out, if not of course start an RMA. Kinda sucks.
Might want to record something of it on your phone so you can upload when doing the RMA. So they know what to look for. Plus so they know in case they cannot recreate the problem.

Yeah, i'm going to do that. I just loaded into the Colin Moran moment and in the picture of Tellez it flashes very fast and you can see Lowery in the on-deck circle and once it loads into the game it goes away. So much for over-spending on a monitor lol

Ah, it happens man. Even the best equipment has issues from time to time. The real test is how they handle your issue lol.

You are right about that, I'm sure it will be fine. At least I hope so. I took a video of the issue. I hope its as visible on camera as it is in person. Thanks for you help.

You sure you’re not just playing at Field of Dreams?

As much as I hate playing in FOD, i wish it was something easy like that. The image isn't flashing as much as before, but its still there. Hopefully powering it off for a day will fix it.
