Playing the event in coors. Opponent hits a fly ball to center, I have buxton and I run behind the ball a bit so I can get you know behind on it. Locks in place and it goes to the right of him by 6 feet and I have to chase the ball that’s against the wall. I’m completely under the ball on my screen, 99 defense, locked in animation, 99 reaction, miss, how?

My best guess would be a server desync, because of their wonderful networking infrastructure. So the ball on your screen was in a different location than the location of the ball according to the server.

Well he didn’t move up any bases because he was just as confused as I am on the play. I’m sure he thought the ball was caught too. Funny thing is I subbed in buxton so I wouldn’t have misplays in center lol. But thanks for the explanation and help Raes, the show this year is very hard to be optimistic about.
