Playing the event and got froze out of a win

Up 4-0 and tried to go into pause menu and couldn’t escape. Essentially forfeited my win because he went quick menu as I tried to pause. His internet was terrible and the only reason this matters is because it actually messed up my user input pitching and now it took away my chance to finish the game. Man this year is just a 1/10 so far for mlb the show.
