Live series ratings?

I am confused as to why kershaw's live series card is sitting at an 83. He was boosted i am assuming, due to his perfect 7ip he threw. Hes currently rated 85. So why would he have a negative two to his rating now? His last outing is what he was boosted for...
i see a lot of rating movement that doesnt seem to correlate with what happening on the RL diamond. Anyone got a break down on how SDS rates these live series cards? -
Daily matchup increase/decrease based on insideEdge is on all live series cards.

They use inside edge to determine the daily boosts or decreases. So if you go to the player card and go to the inside edge tab it will give you info on their matchup for the day.
For Kershaw it says that the Braves have an .833 ops against soft throwing lefties over the last 2 years. So that's where the decrease is coming from

Plus, I think (not 100% sure) that 1-2 stars means negative effect, 4-5 means positive, 3 might be neutral.

Great question man. I always assumed this OVR boost or decrease had to do with results not predictions like the new supercharged. I just started learning about IE in my second season.
