Why is this still not a thing?

I have a all texan team build, I went to mess with my rotation when I see Jordan Hicks not at the closer spot. Couldn't find him anywhere until I looked him up thinking he did something dumb to get taken out of the game. Fortunately no, just moved to the starting rotation. Now he's not good enough to beat anyone I have there now so I lose my closer that I've been working on , why can't we get cards that can qualify for a bullpen/starter card? If he's a starter just bump up his stamina, in the bullpen just nerf it. Would it be that hard? And only players that qualify, not a bullpen of deGroms and other starters that you know wouldn't be in the pen.
I just gave SDS props for a Lefty Gomez closer card that I can use for my old school team but once again they could just have this option for qualifying pitchers. -
