Welcome any comments or insight but I just started Diamond Dynasty and I’m at a low rating (250-300) and it seems that the PCI is smaller this year where last year it was larger and thereby easier to hit until you built your team and skill, i.e. ratings were higher. Even my Diamond players don’t have large PCI. I’m not sure what dictates the size of the PCI so if anyone has any insight that would help it’s much appreciated.

Contact is the size of inner PCI, vision is outer, countered by H/9 and K/9 respectively. What diamond cards are you using, a lot of the face of the franchise diamonds have pretty bad contact vs right

Just use timing, it’s there for a reason this year.

I tried out timing for 2 games, and I understand where you are coming from on it, you do hit the ball pretty hard when you have good or perfect timing, but its definitely not what is causing all the foul balls. If I was off the slightest bit it was a swing and a miss

I just turn the visual aspect of the pci off. Doesn't distract me this way.

It takes away from having to do 2 things at once like zone. If you have good timing with zone but struggle sometimes with placement…the Timing interface is a handicap and you can solely rely on your timing. Contact swing combined with Timing and your a tough out until the inevitable hangball….you know what happens after that.

Timing is overpowered and cheesy af.

Edit: Try a zoomed out camera also. For me it gives me more time to react and time. Meaning, I can see the pitch for a tad bit longer and it gives me more time to react….before it’s right on you.

Thanks yes mostly Face of the Franchise cards. The inner PCI is small snd probably due to fear you said. I’m using the Strike Zone view. Couple mentions on using “timing”. Not sure what that setting is? Thanks.

Thanks- can you clarify what you mean on using timing? I’ve got it set on strike zone for the pci view.

It’s a new interface in the hitting settings. You don’t need to aim the PCI. Instead just hit the ball by timing the pitch at the plate. It’s zone without having to aim basically….the CPU takes care of the aiming for you. It’s been glitchy and have had surprisingly good results. If you use Contact swing it becomes even more deadly cause you can foul off pitches like no other until you get a good one to hit.

Also, they removed the ability to see opponents hit feedback so your opponent won’t know your using it and can’t try to pitch around it. It’s awesome man!
