How to load new ballplayer in RTTS

I originally had a catcher in RTTS but then I decided to start grinding for a shortstop instead. I created a new SS ballplayer that appears in the DD my squad menu and under the "my ballplayer" menu in the RTTS "new save" screen (pressing square), but I couldn't find a way to load my SS career into RTTS. It's stuck at the catcher ballplayer with no option to switch between ballplayers
