Do they play the game before release?

Are the devs playing and testing prior to release and honestly having fun with the game? I’m genuinely curious as to if they think this current gameplay is fun or pull your hair out frustrating.

Also, where does our feedback go from here? Years and years of similar issues with no end in sight.
