GAMEBREAKING GLITCH IN CUSTOM LEAGUES MUST BE FIXED ASAP

I see other people have also posted about it, but you cannot currently play leagues on hall of fame or legend difficulty. if you set it to HOF or legend it gets automatically changed to what feels like rookie or veteran. This needs to fixed in the next game update. This makes leagues unplayable as competitive leagues on the higher difficulties just simply will not play on rookie. My league is currently just waiting for a fix but nothing has been acknowledged yet.
I know custom leagues tends to go unnoticed with glitches but this really needs to be fixed. There is still a solid community of players that play this mode and it would be greatly appreciated.
I’m not really too sure who to @ here in terms of admins so if someone would comment and tag someone that would be appreciated as well.

There is no one to @. I submitted a bug report as have many others. This mode does not drive anyone at all to stubs or to generating more moolah for SDS so I personally would be shocked if this is fixed at all this entire 22' season. Not to even mention it ANYWHERE however, clearly states their lack of care about the custom league/old online franchise people. We are a dying breed and the mode is nearly extinct already. If this was their mission.....mission accomplished.

You can check to see the difficulty level if you start a game vs the CPU, pause and look at the gameplay settings. If your league’s difficulty is set at legend, it defaults to Allstar and hof is veteran. If there was a level above legend, we’d be good to go haha but right now we’re screwed

I hope they fix it…. Personally I love leagues and it’s one of my favorite modes in the game. Im hoping the difficulty glitch doesn’t go unnoticed for a long period of time hopefully they have a fix soon but I don’t they will sadly.

They're legitimately treating this mode the same way they handled online franchise sliders help but its inconsistent and just causing issues with resetting.

We have been messing with this constantly in our league and may have found something. If you hit the pause button and go to gameplay settings you will see that both hitting and pitching difficulties are on ROOKIE......But this setting is NOT locked. You can from here change it to whatever difficulty you want to play on, apply your changes and from our testing it does stick to gameplay.....Couple of problems....NOTHING preventing your opponent from changing their difficulty to something less than yours.....And with the fact that we cannot see our opponents PCI post pitch, there is really no way to tell what difficulty they are on unless we as a league make streaming mandatory for both teams which will show them on stream changing it to the correct difficulty level.

You can only change the settings when playing the cpu
Gotcha........we had only tried it in CPU games

so what are other leagues doing with regards to sliders etc to make it actually play on HOF? can anyone share their sliders or setup?
