What is going on?

I could honestly live with the freeze-offs and the VERY RARE disconnect (specifically my end) from online games last season. But now it’s like every third game I randomly disconnect in a 0-0 game. I wasn’t as mad when I had absolutely garbage internet last year because I always blamed it on myself. But this year I’m paying like 3x for a different WiFi brand and it’s like 15x faster upload/download so there’s no way this is on my end.

Now throw everything I said away because I can LIVE with online being like that. BUT now this season I’m disconnecting from freaking offline games(most of the time it doesn’t even tell me until AFTER the game) and then for mini seasons it counts it as a loss. So I just won a 3 inning game 4-0 and racked up a whole bunch of stats and now it says it’s a loss. And this happens about once every 5-6 games, completely killing whatever grind session I had planned. Please please fix this issue as this NEVER happened last year.

I have zero issues with online play. You should try to hardwire your connection. Wi-Fi is not ideal for this game.

I have zero issues with online play. You should try to hardwire your connection. Wi-Fi is not ideal for this game.

Yea I honestly think the problem is that, even though my WiFi is WAY stronger this season, It will randomly hiccup for a couple seconds every once in awhile and MLB the Show will disconnect even if your WiFi only hiccups for like a split second. They haven’t designed a disconnect safety timer into their servers. You see many games that will give players a 20-30 second window for their WiFi to re-establish connection and SDS doesn’t have that. It sucks. Cause like I said it’s crazy how much faster my WiFi is this year. But yes I could see a hardwire fixing everything.
