question about pitcher animation preview before throwing pitch (Slider). Logan Webb for example.

SDS

Hello,

This might be a dumb question, but I like the way Logan Webb's slider animation looks before throwing it, it has alot of break and the angle is very curvey. Is there a reason why some pitchers like Logan Webb, Marcus Stroman have way more break animation preview then other pitchers?

Is it because of the way it comes out of their hand? Is there a stat or quirk im suppose to look for with players Slider animation style?

I attach a picture to show my example.
Pitch preview, lots of break and angle?

Does this mean hes throwing it over hand first? up and then down.

Thanks!

I dont want to just spend a bunch of stubs and not like their throwing style.

it might possibly be their arm angle in where they release the ball
