Does the CPU randomly just pop off against you or is it just me?

Anyone ever play conquest or mini seasons and the CPU just randomly starts popping off.

I’ll be playing a mini season game on rookie and win like 10-0 throwing a perfect game, but then the next game I find myself down 3 runs in the last inning and can’t get a hit to save my life.

Or I’ll be playing conquest and cruising through a game, all of a sudden the CPU walks it off and I’m sitting there confused.
