Inside edge shown on cards doesn't make sense?
-
In encountered a lot of recent cases where the inside edge doesn't make much sense. It seems like the change on the card doesn't correlate with the changes in attributes.
Today for example, it shows that Kyle farmer has a +1 inside edge (74 -> 75). However, when you look at his attributes he has -10 to contact and power vs righties and no other bonuses. Nicky lopez has a +1, but has -12 to contact a power vs righties. Carlos Santana has - 12 to contact and power vs righties but nothing shows on his card. Aaron Loup has a +2 inside edge with no attribute changes.
Is there an explanation for this? Maybe one of the 2 doesn't update properly?

Been like this for years bro! Lol... I'm not 100% sure, but I think whatever the attributes show when you go into the card info screen, are the correct boosts/nerfs

I see this mainly in BR.

Has it? I didn't really play DD the past 2 years.
No blindly picking BR drafts any more based on overall rating -
Unfortunately it has, like you said just gotta press triangle and check before you draft. Add it to the list of legacy bugs that they've ignored for years. It would be nice if we knew what boosts/nerfs/info was actually true and to be trusted. Definitely makes one confused when drafting.

So 1 and 2 stars they get neggative effects on stats sometimes 3 stars can go either way.. You want players that show a 4 and 5 stars those are the only ones with positive boosts
-
I saw Sean Doolittle had a 2 star inside edge and -10 to 2 of his attributes and that was all that was affected. He was from a 72 to a 75.

I guess this makes sense. Isn’t there a guide in the game that explains this?

I don't know about how the attributes are calculated but 1 star is not "plus 1". 1 star is bad. Every card in the game is rated 1-5. So 1 and 2 star ratings will always lower attributes.
