if an opponents batters, a majority of them are batting over 300. they are using timing only or directional. somehow timing only is an option online. so they just power swing the whole time and this game rewards them. its garbage
This is lol, not true at all.
this is true...you will not bat over 300 with every player using zone. it wont happen. not even the greatest player ever would be able to do that. Its only timing and directional that can have multiple batters over 300 over 40 games. If you think else youre not too bright.
I am batting .280 with Realmuto, and over .328 with all 7 other hitters. Zone.
Also top players every year prove you wrong, they never have someone in their lineup below .300, to them if their batter is hitting .300, it's a bad card
youve literally played 3 games on probably veteran difficulty....re read my comment i said over 40 games.
I've mostly played all-star on event actually. About 35ish games there
And once again, top players do that every year, .300 to them is a bad card.

Dude just put your settings on timing only and try it out. It's a pain in the [censored]. Also the guy above me is correct the best players have hitters batting near 400 and they all use zone.

and you can throw stuff literally in the opposite batters box, like a slider away from a right hander and they can pull it for a hr cuz of power swing. its an absolute joke of a game at the moment. Its been like this for years, they need to eliminate everything but zone hitting online
As someone who uses directional/timing hitting I can say this is not true at all. I can hardly hit any pitches that aren't over the plate. If I power swing every swing my guys just miss things even with good timing. I would love to know the secrets of these guys supposedly power swinging pull homers on pitches off the plate away.

opponent PCI placement was removed from the game. Many times last year, people would square up balls for solid hits, but the opponents saw incorrect feedback, making it look as though the opponent completely missed the ball with their PCI.
This issue has almost never been PCI placement or game physics, it's been feedback from your opponent. With lag and internet connects the way they are, it's no wonder something like opponents PCI placement would be difficult to consistently program into a game code.

so how do online shooters work? theres more ghoin on in those games then a pitcher batter matchup. The issue is timing only online is not competitive. its using the computer to aim
do you use auto fielding too?

trolling post? all the top players using zone have all their guys over 300

Are they? Or are they trying that new timing hitting?

I'm sorry, I really don't understand what you're trying to say here bud. I did read it four or five times, so don't blame me, I tried!
How do online shooters work? Not very well most of the time. The lowest ping wins 99% of the time. Technology allows us to play online video games that require quick reflexes, but that doesn't mean it works well.
Technology is so varying by country and location, there are just far too many variables to create a perfect experience online.
No, I don't use auto fielding as it's just not very good. I also don't use directional or analog hitting for the same reason.

Are they? Or are they trying that new timing hitting?
It's not new. Last year it was "analog". They just let you pick your input this year instead of forcing you to use the stick.

Please check my stats from last year. I haven't used anything other than zone since 2017.

I don't buy the "difficulty of programming". They have no problem programming the other small and intricate details of the game so that 2 players are seeing the same thing at the same time. I think they either A) got sick of people complaining about their opponents getting hits they didn't deserve while they themselves weren't being rewards for "better swings" or B) they got sick of people complaining about their opponents getting hits they didn't deserve while they themselves weren't being rewards for "better swings".
Sports games have built in systems to allow everyone to succeed to a certain extent. It wouldn't shock me to find out they are allowing player to win games they should have lost in order to keep them playing. You hear the term "player retention" being thrown around alot with gaming companies.

The top tier guys always use zone and consistently stream and smoke everything with great eyes and patience. It's funny how you say that someone isn't too bright yet there is loads of evidence against what you just said. You are about as bright as a burnt out light bulb

Dude, they can't even get co-op games to show the same time of day for both parties. You just haven't been paying attention..

Timing and directional are the same thing so that shows you don't even know what you're talking about.
