Mini Seasons is lame

There creativity came directly from the community with mini seasons. Its certainly not perfect but offline players have been asking for exactly mini seasons for like 5 years

I like it. I wish they had a stats page, but it's cool. Also I wish the cpu pitchers stamina carried over game to game, play the same team back to back and they bring the same relievers out both games with full energy.

It's not the worst thing ive ever done, but i've been playing MLB The show since 06 on my PSP, i've put in what feels like half my life playing the CPU, Its really boring to me. I wish they didn't have cards locked behind the game mode.
If they want to do that, put more effort in

The mode overall isn’t a terrible idea. It’s going to need some tweaking just like any other new modes they have created over the years. I just hope my league won’t be all god squads. I don’t mind maybe 1 in the league but there should be various overall teams in the league.

I had no idea a card is hidden behind this mode. I do well with Longoria. At least his siggy the last 2 seasons, so I want it.
I've heard the nightmarish glitches, so I haven't tried this mode yet. -

I've had two god squads so far!! lol I played 4 straight vs one and was only able to win 1 on Hall of Fame, so i had to turn the difficulty down to Vet to win. My team cant match up with a God squad right now.

I've had two god squads so far!! lol I played 4 straight vs one and was only able to win 1 on Hall of Fame, so i had to turn the difficulty down to Vet to win. My team cant match up with a God squad right now.
My first game was a god squad but I put it on a lower difficulty and won 3-0. I looked just now and I think there are two god squads in my league.

I like it, but I think going forward it should be 9 innings. Also as more cards get released I think you’ll see a variety in teams.

No it should not! lol. playing 28/29 3 inning games is boring enough lol. They should let you simulate games that would make it go quicker.

I think a lot people wanted a 9 inning offline season, they conquest if they want 3.

If that is what people want fine, but they should NOT lock a card behind 30 9 inning games vs cpu lol

Is it repeatable in the sense that you can earn the pack rewards more than once? If so, this mode is actually worth it. If not, meh.

Yes it is repeatable, but the only way to get Evan Longeria is through the mode, you have to win the championship. Its very GRINDY and boring.

Yeah I went through that to get the card, I just wasn't sure if you can earn the packs more than once. I think it's not that grindy for the packs you get, it's better than the past where you had to complete the whole USA conquest map for a 10 pack bundle.

How could they make it less Grindy?

Why would you want it less Grindy? This was made for offline players to have a mode to use their DD teams besides play vs the cpu and conquest.. It’s not supposed to be something you do in 20 minutes.

That is fine if it is for people who enjoy taking their DD team and playing CPU. If that is the case, they shouldn't lock a card behind the mode. I thinking playing the CPU is boring. So for me i have to play through a 30+ games to get a card for collection purposes. They should let you simulate games or something for those like me who do like like it, or don't lock a card behind the mode.
