Just came across 2 videos of creators spending all that for collection rewards and promoting ps5 when no one can get one. This is sick. Preying on the weak.
Worry about your own pocketbook and resources and let others worry about themselves

PS5 is easy to get right now.... my buddy just got one 2 weeks ago and I've had mine for 2 months now, both at regular price.
It's still hard, but if you really wanted one, you'll get it. A lot of my PSN friends still don't have a 5.
It's affected EASHL because no matter what hour I play, the population is low. This means many still play on the 4.
Try to become a Gamestop PowerUp Rewards member. That's how I got mine in July of 2021. They sent a heads up e-mail that they'd have a restock. -

I used to watch McGunski but I just couldn’t listen to that [censored] anymore. Kevin is funny in small doses. Can’t stand any of the other toolbags. Even still, I can’t fault them or SDS. It’s smart marketing and a symbiotic partnership. I don’t know (or care) if every penny they spend comes out of pocket or if SDS gives some the top content creators a monthly stub stipend. Either way, I just know I can’t spend my time listening to any of those Arizona D-bags anymore. Especially how most of them speak in 3rd person all the freakin time. I mean, it ALMOST makes sense when talking about their team as a group (“we scored 4 runs last inning”) but it’s just so grating when they do it when they are clearly speaking about themselves as individuals (“we have the worst pack luck” or “we are taking FotF Luis Robert in our first choice pack”). And I love potty humor (and potty porn) as much as the next guy, but I just can’t hear mcgunski shout the word “c0ck” 40 times per video. “Here comes an 0-2 slide piece to the cawwk!” Good lord.
Try Shelfy. Dude seems like a genuinely good person.

I’m not telling anyone what to do. Just like someone else should.

The most annoying one to me is a guy I will refer to as The Smug Weasel ( and no, this is not a reference to MightyGoat) because I don’t want to give the kid any free advertising.
He started popping up out of nowhere last year because he just started playing The Show last year…and yet in his videos he makes comments like ‘Every year I look forward to X card’ and ‘Every year Team Affinity is the best program… Kid played part of one year and wants to come accross as an expert on the historical trends of the game. What a scam. I wish he would stop polluting my YouTube feed when doing searches on this game.

If the content creators didn't spend the money and get the stubs, their channels would be pretty boring playing with bronze and silver players! No one would watch their channel and they would not make any money! So, it makes absolute sense for them to do it!

I enjoy YouTube more than Twitch. Once a channel gets big enough I can’t enjoy it. Too much wasted time on sub trains and other [censored] on Twitch. Cbrev’s YT is all I need.

The worst part is the majority of these guys have never played real sports. They’re keyboard warriors.

Check Amazon for PS5, how I got mine a few weeks ago.

How about them Rangers, bud?? Pretty splashy off season and a few studs on the way. Where do you think they’ll finish this year? I love all their signings and trades, but is 3rd their ceiling?

Never had girlfriends or poozy either 🤪
I mean maybe had, but you know how it is. We have to give them tons of our time. Playing as much as they do would be impossible to maintain a relationship -

I’m not sure I buy this really. Like I said, the only guy I halfway tolerate is Kevin, and he’s not all that great at the game. A content creator should be able to drive traffic based on their personality and entertainment value. I couldn’t care less if Kevin has a team full of diamonds or a team full of commons. I’m more interested in whether or not the host is funny, insightful, helpful, interesting, etc.
Again, I get why they drop a bunch of fish to get the cards. But I don’t think it’s really all that important to most viewers — particularly at the beginning of the year when we already know (for the most part) what to expect from the LS cards and the small handful of FB/legends. Later in the year I get why they want to rush to market with videos of the new bosses and rewards. But do I care if YourMoronKyle is using 95 Trout or 76 Adam Engel? No. All I care about is how quickly I can close out the window so I don’t accidentally catch a case of pompous douchebag.

Love what they did obviously, the lineup is pretty much set. Could use another outfielder but overall massive upgrades. Pitching moves left a little to be desired, Grey should be a three starter but I think they want another year to see what they have. Depending on injuries which could determine the race I could see the Rangers third. Plenty of pop but not enough pitching to contend.

Not much difference I guess. Same difficulties maintaining a relationship as 9 to 5ers have

Should we treat them the same with COD, Fornite and Madden CCs? Maybe but if their channel is mostly The Show, then they have to get ahead or lose their base. Some had Randy Johnson within hours of release.

Who cares, for them this is a tax write off. I don't feel bad for anyone who doesn't understand this and decides to do something similar if their financial situation doesn't allow it.
