@collin_sds_MLBTS @Collin_SDS_PSN @Victor_SDS_PSN
I'm really hoping for some actual SDS help here. I tried putting in a ticket. So far I've received a response from Miguel, and two responses from Joseph, and each time they have ignored my actual problem and told me something unrelated that I already know. I'm hoping one of you (Collin or Victor) can help me out, or at least get someone from the team to actually read my issue.
For 21 I had the digital deluxe for PS5 and I played on Game Pass for Xbox. When I linked the accounts last summer, I made the Playstation the primary and everything worked out great. I played a lot, and I had every player card in the game.
For 22 I bought the digital deluxe for Switch, and I plan on playing on Game Pass for Xbox when that releases next week. I linked my Switch account to my MLB The Show account yesterday, and it is now the primary account so that my progress will transfer to 22 on Xbox.
This is the problem:
All of my progress for 22 is present on the Switch, and I assume it will also be on Xbox next week when I get access, but all of my progress for 21 is wiped on my PS5 and Xbox. I know Collin has said before it's not actually gone, but I need help getting it back while linking in a way that would be helpful. I honestly don't know how this is supposed to work if you have a different primary console across two different games (21 and 22). If I make the Playstation the primary, then everything from 22 would be wiped for Switch. If I make the Switch primary like I did, then everything for 21 is lost.Is there any way you could designate different primary accounts for different versions of the game on your end? If not, what can I do to keep both sets of progress for 21 and 22? My hope would be that I could just unlink the Playstation, and all of the 21 progress would be restored to that console, and I could keep the Switch and Xbox linked to The Show account to share 22 progress. I'm hesitant to try that though because if my Playstation progress on 21 reverted back to when I first linked everything, that would take me back to sometime over the summer which would be a LOT of lost progress. I had every player card in the game, so I would not be okay with that.
The responses I have received so far that are unrelated to what I'm asking

Hello- Thank you for your message. You will be able to play during early access on PS5. If you would like to play Early Access on Nintendo Switch, you will need to buy the Digital Deluxe on the console you'd like to play. Thanks for playing The Show! -Miguel.

Why do you need the 21 progress?

Just because 22 is out doesn't mean I won't go back to play 21. It would be nice if the cards I spent hundreds of hours earning were actually there.

OK, sorry I wasn't trying to be confrontational, just curious. Once you've collected your Pre-Order stuff, and the game is available on the XBox...Wouldn't making your XBox the Primary console for both 21 and 22 let you keep all that? I'm not familiar with how the Cross-Progressional stuff works, but seems like the XBox is your Common Denominator. Stubbs don't transfer, but all the card do right? Does changing your primary, delete your progress?

No worries. I understand your thinking, but Colin has said in the past that the other platforms all look to one platform to see progress. Based on that, I believe if I made the Xbox the primary I would lose all progress for both games since they would be looking at an empty account.
Unlinking will likely restore my Playstation progress, but I want to confirm what it is being restored to before I potentially make things worse. If it reverts back to when the Switch was added to the account, then that's perfect. If it reverts back to when the Playstation was first added to that account, then that's a major problem since I did that early on in the game cycle and would lose 90% of my inventory and parallel progress.
In hindsight, I probably should have just created a second MLB The Show account, added the Switch, unlinked Xbox from the first, and then added it to the new one. The only reason why I didn't do that is because 1) It's stupid to need two different accounts and it should work with one and 2) I was worried that once linked I wouldn't be able to swap the Xbox back and forth between two different MLB The Show accounts. I'm hoping I might still be able to do that, because I can't think of another solution unless a dev can fix something on their end.

How do you make a console primary?

How do you make a console primary?
I think it has to do with the order in which you link them. When you link a new account, I believe it also shows you the progress on different consoles and has you pick one.
