I’m finally bored of playing baseball

After many years of playing this franchise, my interest began waning with the ‘21 game - the SP dominance really ruined it for me. I basically stopped playing regularly around last fall, didn’t play at all for several months, went back and played here and there before stopping again. I bought this seasons game, played for a while last night and recognized it’s just daunting the idea of starting over again. I’m simply bored of it.
For an addiction I thought I’d be stuck with forever, thank you SDS for delivering such an unsatisfying experience in ‘21. I’ll eat the $85 I spent on ‘22, I’m deleting it today and that’s going to be the end of my “career” after playing somewhere in the vicinity of 50,000 lifetime innings.
Free at last, free at last, thank god almighty, I’m free at last!

Not being a prickk. Just being honest. This “farewell” could have been in any of the million other complaint threads.

Hey a761506, I get it. I felt completely burned out after '20 and took '21 off. Stepping away for a season got me excited to get back into it with '22. Felt good playing again at release.
Maybe step away for a bit...then give it another go.

Yeah, I regret buying it yesterday. I think I only did because of the addition of Brian Wilson. But I played 2 conquest games this morning and it's just crazy how nothing feels fresh or new. I've been complaining about new commentary for years and I'm not even hyped about that. Just all feels the same same.
