You can still foul off pitches in the dirt, as a matter of fact it’s actually easier too this year btw. This is only on all star and in the events so take it with a grain of salt, but I could’ve swore they were gonna reduce that this year.

the pci definitely shrinks outside of the zone. the foul balls might just be because everyone has gold pitchers with low H/9
