Showdown Perks Question

Showdown question. When playing the bosses, do perks with a 2 out boost work? Example: Lifeline has a contact boost with runners on and 2 outs. Since bosses offer more than 2 outs do these boosts work against them?

That is a good question, I always assumed it didn't and so I never equipped them. But if you really wanna know, you could equip them and then go into the boss battle. If it shows up in the bottom of the strike zone at the beginning of the at bat, it works. If not, it doesn't.

Edit: with this example make sure there are runners on base before you check of course.
