I don't know what to make of this...

This week I flew to DFW and stayed at the nice Live at Loews hotel next to the (formerly known as) Ballpark at Arlington and the new Globe Life Park and the AT&T Stadium. I brought my PS5 so maybe I could get some offline game play in while on my trip using their wifi and their TV.
I knew the input lag was going to be bad, but didn't think it would be as atrocious as it was. I played one vs CPU game against the O's. Using the meter pitching, when I second click on where it should be however it would always go to the end. I ended up walking the first batter, and nearly the second batter before I figured out about where I should second click with the delay. I ended up pitching a no-no with that one walk keeping me from a PG.
I tried hitting with zone at first, but I would almost always end up at the far right (extremely late) of the hitting scale and of course I would be whiffing on nearly every pitch, but did get lucky contact with each of the first three batters (still all outs though). The second inning, I switched to directional hitting and started swinging just after the ball is released from the pitcher and hope that it was a fastball! In the end, I still got three perfect/perfects, eight HRs, and scored 18 runs. Game Notes
Now, back home with the wired high-speed internet and a 0.5ms gaming monitor, I played another vs CPU game against the O's to knock out some daily missions. Of course I went back to zone hitting. Yet, I did worse in pitching (gave up five hits to include a solo HR) and did basically the same in hitting. I hit four perfect/perfects, thirteen HRs (quite a bit more there), and scored one additional run for a total of 19. Game Notes
So, I'm just as good (or bad) randomly swinging with directional on a wifi and a TV as I am with a wired high-speed connection and a gaming monitor with zone hitting? I might need someone to pass me one of those tin foil hats!!!
Actually, I think I may be a bit rusty from a short break...possibly?
