Schedule officially done?

The schedule on the website is now blank. I know the year is over and boy was it a good one (my first) and while I'm aware there are freeze off, gameplay, Puckett hating issues, I have had a blast the last 9 months playing DD for the first time.
Still, it's a little odd to have such a fizzle of an ending. I know TA5, Trout, Griffey and Pujols were kind of the big bang at the end (that's what she said) but to have your final rewards be Shane Victorino and Jonathon Lucroy and to just stop announcing things and erase the calendar is a bit of a Letdown.
But before you jump to telling me how good the game is....I know. I haven't owned a console or played video games since I was in Junior High and this game made me a gamer (I am about to try Skyrim for the first time).
I guess it's just time to turn the page. Glad to hear 22 is in the works.

Each January the schedule just fizzles out and disappears. When the calendar turns over to the new year, SDS just focuses on the next game even though it takes a month for them to start releasing information on the new game. We will soon see a lot of SDS videos on the new game to build the hype for the release, the new features, and the new Legends they are bringing in.
As I mentioned in previous threads, the game will not be delayed due to the lockout. In case you didn't see it, MLB confirmed it and explained that the video game's contracts lies outside the CBA... If you are about to try Skyrim for the first time, you may not leave your house for awhile. I was only into sports games until I played Oblivion which was the Elder Scrolls before Skyrim back in like 2006-2007. Showed me what I was missing by just playing sports games and have been hooked to gaming ever since.

Hahaha, that is what I've heard. I'm excited. My buddy who got me into the Show and taught me how to do DD is getting me to branch out. Skyrim seems like the perfect game for my interests, I just hope I don't suck.
I'm also trying Bloodborne.
@dap1234567890 , yeah that makes sense and obviously I'm Looking forward to 22 now that we know it's officially on target.

bloodborne is amazing if you can deal with learning by dying and failing. not my favorite souls game but still fun. also horizon zero dawn is about 3 weeks out. cant give the skyrim comment since its one of the few games ive eveer tried that I wanted to like that I just cant, I think its the lack of direction and just too much going on.

Taking a break from the game and playing something else for a bit is a good idea. That way, when April comes around and the new game drops, you'll be fresh and excited to start the grind over again.
