Themed Ranked Seasons

Yes, I know we have Events. But what about themed Ranked Seasons.
Pretty much have Ranked set up in lobbies.
If you want a regular game, no restrictions; then you play what we have now.
But say you want to play a 9 inn game vs an opponent and you want to use Gold LS players and only want to play vs someone using Gold LS players. Then they have a room, or lobby, for that setup.
Same rewards. Same record. Just for someone that wants to run out with a different lineup than all 99s.

Decent idea but you get an F for execution. Lobbies for ranked would be a playground for boosting. The only approach would be to have it as a standalone and roster similar to events. A lobby in general would be nice for non-ranked gameplay and scrims though since casual mode is barren

You couldn't have a million different options to choose from though, it would split up the player base to much. SDS would have to pick one or two themes a season

The only thing I could see happening would be an over 40 or 45 ranked eventually as gamers get older and their eyes aren’t as good.

And then 39 year olds will complain that they don't have the reactions either but they have to play with the 15 year olds, and then you have to divide every age group into their own ranked season and then it just gets a mess.

I’d like to see ranked get an overhaul next year. I like the idea of roster restrictions just to have some variety. I’d also like to see a separate ranked for all star, Hof, and legend. Let people determine which difficulty they like to play on. Either that or make RS all one difficulty. It’s too hard to jump around difficulty with weird timing windows

What about online casual?
I thought about that mode but for some people they would still want a mode where you would get credit towards the current WS program.
