Secondary positions

Anyone else think it would make sense for CF and SS to not have their defensive ratings reduced for playing less demanding positions like corner OF or 3B/2B?

I like what you're saying, but it would be tough to apply this to CF and SS who aren't really good at defense. My idea is to make a "utility player" type quirk for guys who typically play more than one position or don't have a "main" position normally. Its essentially the same as what you're saying, but only applied to certain players who deserve it

Definitely think guys like Zobrist who consistantly (at least over a career) play multiple position should either receive less of a penalty or hell, drop the fielding stats a percentage across the board and give no penalty since they don't have a clear cut "Primary Position" Heck, when it comes to Outfield or even Middle infielders, Reaction should be the only attribute changed between positions. You're still fielding the same ground ball or pop fly. Your Arm Strength and accuracy doesn't change cause you went from Left to Right. Your just seeing the ball from a different perspective so it's harder to react for some people.
