Ridiculous Number of Pickoffs

I had a lead off single with the Edwards, the rays prospect with ridiculously high speed and I kept taking a one step lead and each time I would my opponent would pick off, twenty four times before he threw a pitch and then seven more in a 1-0 count to be exact. Eventually I advanced him on a soft grounder and he didn’t pickoff at second but is there a way to report stupidity like that?
stop leading off pretty simple and choose better counts to steal. NO EXTRA LEAD IS NECESSARY

Let me get this straight:
You initiate the first move by taking an extra step.
Your opponent reacts by throwing over for a pickoff attempt.
You continue to do so.
He continues to react.
You get annoyed, while you are the one initiating the whole sequence.
You actually wanna report him. This is great stuff, thank you for this. Here's a tip for ya; don't take the extra step.
That extra step is needed even with high speed players to avoid a potential double play

It really is tho you can say what you want about taking that 1 step lead but its a bit ridiculous between players online and the computer throwing over and shooting for your runner to just freeze like they randomly do

I got stubborn yes and wasn’t going to give in, but I’m doing a legitimate baseball move and he was spamming the pickoff. It may have turned into a bd contest but that not the point.

yep a troll

Is there a way to report gameplay, that’s all I’m asking, idk whether you think I’m trolling or an idiot.

I refuse to pitch if my opponent takes a secondary lead. I just step off and reset. If he continues to take a secondary leadoff I will wait 5 seconds, select my pitch, allow the entire animation of my pitcher coming set to play, wait another 5 seconds and then step off. It takes upwards of 15 seconds and usually after a couple of times my opponent gets the hint that I'm paying attention and he's not getting that free step.
Im not sure about this year but last year pick offs would take stamina and if you threw over enough you'd inevitably end up throwing the ball away.
The likelyhood of being picked off is so slim that there is no real risk or repercussions for taking a secondary lead, and to me that is a broken gameplay mechanic.

Exactly,
In this year game you I have picked off quite of few people, it is not automatic getting back to the base, I have picked off people at second and 1st. Those people leading off with bad base runners be ready to get picked off.

You going to report yourself for the continued extra step which is stupid as well. If you take an extra step why is it stupid for someone to continue to throw over. In this year game you can actually pick people off who take the extra step.

So you think they should just let you take the extra step because you want to? Even though they would be worse off.

At least you got to lead off. My guys get thrown out rounding first. Had Rizzo get thrown out from RF.
Every time I make a throw to first from RF on a single my first baseman isn’t even on the bag.

Probably one of the dumbest things I've seen on here. Stop leading off!
If he's not going to allow you to take an extra step, then stop taking the extra step! You're the problem in this scenario....
Some people are so incredibly thick headedWhile I’ll agree with the point there should be some chance I should’ve been picked off at some point, my original intention was to either draw a pitchout or slide step, it became obvious very early on when I was getting back every time I wasn’t stealing and that wasn’t going to change between pickoff 5 and 24. The advantage of me having a one step could only help on a slow groundball or first to third/home close play, both situations that while are not impossible are not particularly common and after awhile he shoulda just thrown a pitch.

After the 5th try picking you off you should of stop with the extra lead

Yeah but do not complain when someone throws over every time you take the extra lead

Are you telling this to yourself to justify your dumb behavior? You take a step, especially with a speedy runner, any good player will throw over. You do it (your own words) 24 times, plus another 7, then on top of that, come on a forum and want to call out that guy? Now you're just brainless. Thanks for the laugh though!

So you admit that it gives you a small advantage, but think your opponent should just deal with it?
Tell you what, let's play a game. I'll let you have an extra step every time you get a runner on base. In return, I get to start every inning with my lead off batter standing on 2nd base. Seem fair?
