Example: LS Vidal Brujan. There are 11 sell orders at 155 stubs. The next highest sell order is for 369.
I don't know who's doing this, but it must be how they get their sick kicks. What is to gain from making hardly any profit like this?
Always one
I don't know what you mean. Please elaborate?
There’s always one dckhead doing dumb sht like this, probably just a bored teenager expressing his angst.
Ohh. Might wanna edit that so the thread doesn't get locked.
I'm new to flipping cards so this really throws a wrench in my stub making. Does this happen often in the market? Will the prices for these players return to average?
I just buy them out if its a card im working the market on, I think its best to do that in case it crashes the value completely, which is what it appears they are trying to do.
I’d do this. Just buy the low bid.
Some people pull a card and just throw a Hail Mary on the sell price. They might have just put up a sell order with out looking at the true value of the card.
To the guy that said you’re flipping wrong that’s dumb. I flip tons of common cards with great success. Yeah it’s only a few hundred stubs a flip but with the companion app I can make 20k in an hour on the right common.
^ This, I gotta flip something while I wait on my 20 Ryan Kleskos to sell.
You might have been in a battle with me on those Kleskos. I’ve flipped a hundred or so the last week. I bought a ton of them last week for about 8-10k. I’ve been slowly putting 10 or so on the market at a time. His price keeps rising. Almost think I jumped the gun on selling him.
You definitely jumped the gun on selling him. When this collection drops he’s gonna sky rocket cause there has barely been any prime cards added since the last collection so EVERYONE will need him. Although I don’t know what’s going on with the market right now...
I throw money out of my truck every Friday because I hate money.
Where do you live? And what route do you travel on Fridays?

Me too, though I was an English major, I am a true Historian at heart (Baseball history and otherwise) and my knowledge of economics is basic at best.
You said you've been playing the game a few years now? Has this ever happened on this level? I've seen flash sales effect the market for like a day but not to this degree.
The craziest thing of all....it could happen again tomorrow. But what is left to crash?
I couldnt tell you. I’ve played since 16, but I’ve only gotten into flipping cards hardcore this year. It’s how I got to 1 million for the first time. So I don’t know. I hate not knowing lol

My buddy just tried explaining it to me: but I really don't see it.
Anyone else have a good explanation as to why the bottom fell out?
Do you flip LS diamonds? The margins on those are starting to normalize. Also, take a look at some of the milestones like Kemp and Hamels. There's a 15-30k difference on some of them.

I know some people spam with a ton of orders at the same price for one cart. Say, 75 sell orders for 150 stubs when the card normally goes 330 stops. It’s garbage like that that has me furious. And it doesn’t help the current market situation.

If I may suggest something....Try the top 13 LS from Degrom- Soto when you filter by ovr. They move pretty quickly and the bidding isn't too extreme.
If you've got any tips, I'd love to hear them as well. I'm still learning .

Maybe the prices will go up when there aren’t any more inning programs? Then packs will be harder to earn.
Except for the fact that the 10th inning will probably be a forever inning (or 5 years at least) much like last year and I expect all the packs and bosses to be involved in that.
Please go on....
Like it'll be longer than 650xp or it'll be up longer than 4 weeks? I'm still a rookie.
It will be never ending, I think it caps at a few million xp, Farris would know for sure.
It was 2,000 program stars last year so it should be a huge amount of XP that needs to be earned.

That's cool. And there are rewards all along this crazy forever path? That sounds excellent. I'm not ready for this fun journey to be done for the year. Thanks.

There were also hidden packs once you hit 1000 Stars last year.

I am glad I do not have to battle the market the way some of you do. I flip totally different cards. i will flip common and bronze cards here and there it just easy flipping while I wait for my main orders go though. I will take over 100k in stubs down to 0 in buy orders with a return of 400k if not higher. it is Less work then than flipping Commons and Bronze. The profit is greater. I Flip about 40 of the same cards. I started this about 4 or 5 months ago, I did not a break from flipping for about a month or 2. Sometime the cards flip fast others take time. In previous games I only flipped Silver, Bronze and Common LS cards they can be good but it take a lot of time. Now with the app I am sure it is faster and easier. This year I have enjoyed the cards I found that make me a lot of stubs especially the last few months where I am close to having every card in the game. My goal is to have as many of the flashbacks and legend in the game so When I have enough stubs to buy them. My goal is not to have millions of stub with nothing to spend them on,

Yea but once people pass that level in the program thats it, will really depend on the games population at that point, which due to it being available on gamepass may still be strong. But who knows, my head still hurts from that market crash yesterday.

He’s said it to many other individuals on this forum over the years too, so like I said good riddance.

The answer is that someone has a stock pile of cards Sees a Musial or Bellinger etc and boom goes on a selling spree to get the stubbs necessary. To avoid waiting he undercuts you 10 or 15 stubbs to rush the transaction It is no devious plot. It is free enterprise

Card sales always go pfffffffft after WS

With the packs of finest cards going for 30k people are selling off Cards to buy the packs, which drops the price of those cards, those people do not care about the collection coming up, Now that the market has crashed if they were first to sell they can rebuy for cheaper because they suspected it to crash. The market crash when those finest cards were released. Why did people go crazy for those packs and start selling off there cards I have no idea. When you can play 1 or 2 RIB CQ and that would take less than 2 hours for 2. People need those cards the minute they drop. That is what I think. With the game on XBOX a lot of first time players could have been the ones to have the biggest impact to selling cards off to get the new finest cards. I have not seen a crash of the Market this big in the 5 years I have played DD.

Everyone has done this to the market. It's just a normal thing that is bound to happen.
