What would you do?

It's a 3 inning game and all players are 99's.
It's the bottom of the 3rd with 2 outs.
The score is 0-0.Kershaw is your pitcher.
There is a runner on 3rd, Eddie Murray.
At the plate is the #7 hitter, Honus Wagner with a 2-2 count.
You've thrown him 8 pitches in this AB.On deck is Pudge Rodriguez.
What do you do? Go for the out with Wagner? Walk Wagner to get to Pudge?
-
If I'm that desperate to hold them, I walk wagner for Pudge 150%
-
Me too. I don't want Wagner on 2B in the bottom of the 4th. Even though Pudge has good hitting numbers, I'd chance him over Wagner being in scoring position the next inning.
-
If your facing me, you walk to face pudge every time simply because I can’t hit sh*t with pudge
-
I probably wouldn't walk Honus, but I wouldn't really challenge him either, I'd see if the opponent would get himself out. He's obviously fouled some balls off, so I assume some of those 4 fouls were balls.

Balls! Either way is a gamble.
If you get Wagner out. In the bottom of the 4th, you'll face Pudge, the pitcher's spot (assume they'll put in a pinch hitter), and the #3 hitter, minimum, with Wagner on second. If two of those three gets a hit, or if one of them gets a long fly, Wagner scores - no doubt with his speed.
If you face Pudge instead and he gets out, then he goes on second in the bottom of the 4th and you face the 9, 1, 2 hitters, minimum. The chances of Pudge scoring is less because of his speed (he's not a snail but he isn't that fast either).
There is no correct answer here...I like your guts! I don't think I'd take that chance.

I would pitch to Wagner. and if it goes extra and wagner on 2nd I would walk Rodriguez next inning pitch for the double play. What level are you playing on?

Wow! Nice solution. I didn't even think of setting up the double-play. That is an excellent solution.
I usually play on AS.

If decides to bunt in extras you get the out at first and walk the next guy, Still have the double play with bases loaded. This is just how I play. If it is vs CPU I pitch for K's especially with Kershaw.

If it’s 2-2 count, you probably already decided you were pitching to him. If you have two strikes on him, why would you NOW decide to walk him?
If it were 3-0 or 3-1 then yeah. If you wanna walk him 2-2, why wouldn’t you IBB him in the first place?
Unless there’s something I’m missing?
