Some 99 flashback players

I would love to see some of these players get a 99 flashback:
(Note: these guys don't have higher than a 97)Yasmani Grandal
Craig Kimbrel
Lance Lynn
Salvador Perez
Albert Pujols
J.T. Realmuto -
The only one of those that should actually get a 99 is Pujols. Grandal, Kimbrel, Lynn, and Realmuto are 100% not getting higher cards, nor should they. Perez could get a 99 finest, although it should be Lopez for the royals.
Genuinely curious what your reasoning is for thinking any of those guys other than Pujols needs a 99.

Yasmani and Salvador tops now can get to 99 at pxp 2 and 3
Pujols is a 99 a pxp 2

This is a pointless thread. The only one that will get a 99 in this is Pujols. The others haven’t made anything significant to garner a special card.
I guess Perez has a chance for the Finest card. That’s about it. Maybe Lynn

I mean Kimbrel has definitely had seasons worthy of a 99, I just feel like he would be pointless to release because of the allstar card

Kimbrel’s best card last year was also a 97, and it was slightly worse attribute-wise. His signature series card in ‘19 was a 99 but had basically the same attributes as the current 97 AS card. So yeah, releasing a 99 kimbrel this year would be totally pointless.
