Facebook is Down

Facebook is down and it's like I have nowhere to go. My brain keeps telling me to complain about it... on facebook! I don't know what to do. I'm not on any other platform, aside from my old Tumblr and Internet forums.
What is going on, why is it down, is it hackers?

All of their platforms are down like instagram. My guess is they were hacked. It’s been kind of nice. Break free from the chains known as Facebook.

There was a whistle blower interview that aired yesterday and it's been down since this morning. I'm not a believer in coincidences so my thinking it is indeed a hack of some kind.

I’m not into conspiracies but how long until the whistleblower “disappears”.

I liked Facebook back when I was in college over a decade ago. It was useful back then. Now it seems like the go to destination for uneducated adults to spread misinformation and attack each other over politics. Does anyone under the age of 30 even have an account? I feel like a lot of people have moved on.

I have an account as a 25 year old, but the only purpose is that my grandmother prefers facebook messenger for our family group chats instead of texting lol. I never get on there. Its also useful for logging into other apps with your facebook account instead of going through the whole creating an account process

According to DailyMail, they did it to themselves. They messed with some gateway thing that caused people to not be able to get to the website.
Still, the timing of it around the Facebook files thing is sus.
