I will have control all game shutting him down then al of a sudden 6-7th inning cant hit a spot and give up 6 runs in an inning

Then i either score 9 runs a game or 0 lol

You should probably pay attention to both the confidence and the energy of your pitcher. I'm not saying you don't but I've noticed if your pitch count is high or the pitcher doesn't have a very high stamina number you probably won't be able to control them much beyond the 6th or 7th.

the low stamina and high pitch count is accurate,but I've noticed it with high control pitchers with loads of Stam and low pitch counts( glavine,maddux,Hershiser)
