What's crazy is defense was just fine last year. I swear they break stuff just to give them something to fix.

My point is one of the best fielding OFs shouldn’t have a problem fielding a routine fly ball.

Agreed. It's like the outfielders are skating on ice. Unable to stop.

Better than the weird glitch where your fielder locks onto the ball but won't stop trotting. Before you know it the ball has bounced behind your fielder and is rolling to the wall, while your fielder is still stuck looking up at the sky with his hands out, taking little steps as if he's got a routine pop up in his sights.

I know man. I’m just teasing.

I am actually surprised this hasn’t been fixed yet. How long did it take them to fix the outfielders not locking onto warning track fly outs last year?

I think they fixed it pretty quick.

I wonder if we'll see some kind of patch soon. I'm hopeful that they're working on it and that it will be a good update. I'm hopeful. I do realize it might take a bit longer considering the virus and office restrictions and all. So, I hope we get something soon and it's a good update.

I didn't have this issue until today. My 93 Tony gwynn and right field did this three times in one game. He wouldn't lock onto the circle twice and another time the ball hit him straight in the head. It cost a very subpar opponent the ability to stay in the game but of course I won in the end but that's besides the point.

I've had my third baseman move 3 steps in for a pop fly just to have it land behind him
