Get on base 3x vs 6 Total Bases.

Why is it harder to get on base 3x in one game than it is to get 6TBs in one game?
I did the 6TB one in my first three ABs by hitting 3 doubles; yet I just went 2-5 trying to get on base 3x.
And the kicker is I think 6 TBs mission is on a harder difficulty.

Because 6 TB can be done with two hits.

I know that. It took me three ABs though to get it. I hit 3 doubles.
But this get on base 3 times is driving me nuts. I'm taking pitches, incase I get walked, but I'm only getting one or two hits, without a walk, per game.
Heck I went 2-4 the one time and both hits were homeruns.

And of course after I finish this I get the opportunity to try for a Homerun, in one plate appearance, against a pitcher who has thrown ONE pitch, in five ABs, anywhere near the zone to even attempt a swing.
Had the thought of getting their program, along with the Conquest Map, done tonight so I could concentrate on catching up on oat content.
But after three hours of play and still needing this finished, along with the Conquest map, I'm second guessing my purchase of this game.
I don't expect to run through stuff in minutes, but to play for three hours and have a whopping total of 5K in XP is ridiculous.

On base means you can try to work out a walk or two to help.
