It's been happening since the beta test and I thought they would have patched it by now but they haven't. When a runner with 93-99 speed steals, for some reason you have to push your base twice before the catcher even contemplates throwing it regardless of fielding rating and reaction time Is it just server lag?

I am not great at this game, but I've gotten better and better in all areas. However I cant throw out hardly any base stealers to save my life. I can pick over multiple times and then bases get stolen with ease. I will say I hardly ever slide step, but I just wouldn't think base stealing would be this easy. Do I need to just slide step every pitch when a runner is on?

Slide stepping does nothing for me. You lose a lot of control when you do. Regardless if I pitch out or slide step, I still have to push second base twice to even get the meter up with a catcher with 98 reaction. While not every time, it happens way too frequently.

Are you using throw meter? Hit X while the pitch is still on it's way home. I almost never get stolen against. Otherwise, it's not on your end, it's lag on your internets end.

    X not triangle?

Do you normally hit triangle on your controller to throw the ball to bases?

    X: Throw Home.
    Circle: Throw to 1st.
    Triangle: Throw to 2nd.
    Square: Throw to 3rd.

You have to hit triangle twice, once to activate the throw and once to stop the meter.

This is what I do, but even with someone like Pudge or Realmuto they can still take a bag with ease...they are almost to the bag before the ball gets to the plate.

I seem to have to hit triangle twice to even get the meter to come up on the second press. Like I said, it's not every time, but at least every other game. I'm assuming lag is responsible, but it was never a problem last year.

That's not how the game works. If that is how it's working on your end it's probably some kind of lag because that is not my experience whatsoever.

That's what I figured. Not gonna help me either way LOL. I can't buy a win in this event.
