Has anyone noticed any change in multiplayer games since they added the report function?
I still have R2 spammers, multi pausers, HR replay, and bunt dancers almost every time I play. I wonder if they are even enforcing anything.

Dude, none of that is considered griefing lol. That is in the game.

They kind of screwed themselves by putting "toxic play" as an option because now anytime someone does something a player doesn't like if that player is a douche they will report you.

Great, and they will investigate and check it out. Probably blacklist the guys who constantly do it. Then I would imagine ignore them in the future.

That's what I'm hoping but at this point I don't give them the benefit of the doubt on anything

I can see that. But its harder for someone to prove something without a history or a record than with. So you should be fine. There will be the few that constantly gripe, and after investigation should be found out.

I don't know, they aren't very responsive to bug tickets, so does anyone think they actually read every complaint that comes in?

I like that they added the reporting.. but now they gave themselves more to do when they already have enough to do..

They will literally do nothing. Just like they nerfed the sinkers. They say things and add things like griefing just to deter people from abusing certain things. Even if it works mentally on 10% of players its more than if they didn't say they added it or nerfed it.

Besides rubbing it in I can see replaying HR's is not griefing. But pausing a bunch of times and the others I listed I feel are the pure definition of griefing.
Doing something to get under another persons skin for your own pleasure is griefing regardless of if it is a function in the game. But that is just my opinion. I am sure lots of people view it differently. All I know is I have to be in the right mind set before playing multiplayer or they will get under my skin to the point where it makes it not fun to play. And that is unfortunate.

I imagine a decent part of the players don't know or recognize that it was introduced. If I wasn't on this forum I doubt I would have figured it out by now.

buddy thanks for this thread - the last 3 RS games i had were R2 the WHOLE game - unbelievable stuff - makes games take 1hr plus easily......

each time i send a grief report i wonder if it actually did anything

SDS can even see the guys dashboarding in the 7th or whatever inning - plus the R2 [censored] which is unbelievably brutal to deal with

I at least find it convenient to report Swastika and p-e-n-i-s logos during the game. Sometimes I forget to after.
