Managing energy for bullpen pitchers

I’ve been having this issue for awhile where I can’t seem to be able to use any bullpen pitcher for more then an inning during conquest games. I’ll go through warming the pitcher up before I bring them in and I might get an inning out of them before I get the warning telling me my pitcher is getting tired. Is there anyway around this or is this just how it is with conquest games?

All pitchers have half energy in 3 inning games.
