I work from home now so can play while I work. But if I ever have to go back to the office Yea that’s tough. And I don’t even have kids.

See, you have the kids. Train them to do your job at from home then you can just play the game all day. The only issue is they do go back to school in a week.

When I first started reading this I thought it was going to say train the kids to do your job so you can go get a McFlurry

I’ve been having a think about how else they could implement this.
I’ve actually come up with a better solution.
No XP cap.
BUT.
You can complete the program in about 5 minutes if you want but any player exclusive to the program CANNOT be sold until the program is over.
Problem. Solved?

I think you’ve missed a word. So I’ll guess what you meant.
I don’t really know mate. I think if SDS were clear about why they’ve brought in the CAP then we might get it.

So, for those of us who can't play daily, and try and "catch up" on another day, does this mean once we hit a certain XP one day we are locked or does the daily limit carry over? Doesn't seem quite right for those who don't abuse a system.

So if I start a Conquest Map and am at 30K in XP; once I gain 5K more in Cap it won't even let me finish that map until the cap timer runs out?

In my case I played a game, scored 14 runs, and it only gave me 1024 XP for game so i assumed i was capped

It's cool. I decided what I'm going to do. I'll play till I get my measley 35K and then I'll just start working on 20+ Archetypes until they get to Diamond Level.
Then I'll sit in them until the next Inning starts. I'll then go in a change the sliders so I don't gain any XP and just bang out those until I get to 650K. If I'm getting 44K per Archetype; it should only take me about 8 hours to finish 14 of them and I'll hit the 650K for the program the first day.
Then I won't have to worry about the CAP anymore.

Yeah this is garbage, I like to relax and play the show on my days off and I capped out in 6 hours… it’s only 5pm I was going to play until like 10 or 11pm but there goes that idea…. Thanks MLB The Show for another great idea!!!!

I finished the Shark conquest and was 3/4 the way through the 6th inning conquest map before I hit the cap. Only other thing I did outside of those two was the daily moment.
I did complete some of the team affinity stuff while playing as well, but didn’t think it would add up enough to hit the cap.
I honestly didn’t think I’d come close to the cap, a little surprised I did.

Did you finish the 6th Inning map, not gaining XP playing, so you can get the 25K for it? Or are you waiting until tomorrow to finish it?
