How do you combat constant bunting?

Just played an event game where my opponent did nothing but run and hunt. Even on the third strike. He seemed to always get it down between the pitcher and the second baseman no matter how I was playing my infield. I tried bunt, drag bunt, in. Nothing worked. It sad that people have to exploit the game because they can’t win otherwise, but it worked on me. Is there an effective way to combat this, or is this just a common exploit people use because they can’t win otherwise?

I tend to throw just between their bat and cheek when they bunt, usually results in a strike, foul or pop out.

I rarely play online, did for the FOD program cause I suck at showdown, lol. I ran into one of those and just starting throwing balls and the person quit, lol.

I tried this. It worked for about an inning and then he laid off. Would wait until a 3-1 or 3-2 situation and then bunt and send the runners. Was able to catch him once, but every other time, he somehow got it down.

I’ve had the most fun playing RTTS this year. I used to be an avid online player, but have gotten disenchanted with all the toxic gameplay the past few years. You can get sucked into it.

My problem with RTTS is if I make the difficulty to where it is hard I get frustrated, but if I lower then my stats start looking unrealistic and that frustrates me too, haha.

I’ve been having the same issue. I’ve thrown curveballs as low as possible and they still get a bunt down with a 20 bunt rating. It’s AIDS
