Yeah, I’m pretty proud of it!!! It’s the biggest difference I’ve got yet. I’m actually getting a pretty good laugh at what this game decides to do.

It’s the game nerfing your hits to keep the score where it wants it. All part of the script.

This game is unplayable. I was 11-0 lost the last 3 on defensive errors, jammed hits from my opponents and good/ good good okay (which are squared up) stopping at the track...this isn’t based off skill at all. I wish I could get my money back at this point.

I can tell you without a doubt, at my level 400-500 games are literally decided by the game itself. Errors, nerfed hits, rewarding garbage hits, GAME CONTROLLING PITCH LOCATION (Down the middle) etc. It’s not user input/skill....it’s who the game favors the most. I’m sure there’s an algorithm in place to determine that. It’s all in an attempt to keep players playing, that’s what this game has become. If they don’t tone this bs down, this will be the worst version of this game to date. They’re too scared to lose players if skill/input mattered and you had to try to win.

They’ll fix it? They changed this game intentionally after 3 days and players want to know why. This wasn’t a mishap that needs to be “fixed”, it’s shady gameplay by design to keep players active.

Bro all you’re doing is complaining. Just be patient is all I’m saying and learn to adjust or adapt to the changes. No ones forcing you to play the game.

I just want my stubs back for this freaking 1st inning showdown I've wasted 2,500 stubs on. Centering up balls for 3 innings over and over again (at "Rookie" difficulty) and I can't even get a hit on the first challenge. I verified by going into batting practice on Rookie level and it's insane, count the number of hits you get....I think i had 2 hits after 50+ good cuts (Kolten Wong vs Kenley Jansen).

They definitely did mess with the sliders on showdown. There’s no denying that. Try March to October for team affinities. Easy points just takes longer but more relaxing.

you clearly didn't play the game last year if you think they are going to fix the game this year lol last year it actually got progressively worse, I don't even know how thats possible for a developer to do, but SDS pulled it off.

I didn't see much difference in hitting other than exit velos went up, good/squared was still an out 75% of the time and it took them until late July early August to figure it out, having to remove a key pitching stat to make hitting work isn't a good look either. My point is '19 was [censored] near perfect at launch until the first patch and then it was chop and change. I am just curious how you adapt to the enforced hangers? do I get worse at pitching? because my thinking process is a perfectly timed pitch should go in the general vicinity that its spotted, not where the game decides it should go and most of the time the game decides it should go dead centre. Pitch control has been talked about constantly on this forum, it was actually the only thing people really wanted altered, yet they altered hitting...? and now matchmaking?.

Welp crying got the greedy sds crew to change their stance on locked in duplicate cards. We can now quicksell and exchange them. That would not have happened if the community did not rise up.
