New method I found, one catch tho
-
So I was looking for Joc Pederson in the marketplace during the 5th inning program, and noticed that his buy now had skyrocketed to 42000. He is a 4th inning classic, which means you can’t get him after the 4th inning ended. So, I am investing in 5th inning classics, which are going for roughly 6500 stubs. When these cards become exclusive to the marketplace, they will skyrocket. Has anyone else found this method? The catch is patience. You have to wait for the next program to start, but very worth it considering how cheap the classics are.

They were cheap
-
This is hardly a new strategy, but yeah it can work out in your favor or bite you in the behind big time when there's no demand.
-
A lot of people like moncada, so that’s who I have 20 of
-
One of the major reasons that Pederson skyrocketed was because we was tied to the Ohtani collection. He was the cheapest HRD card at first. Now everyone has him locked in.
-
But check out tommy Edman and Trevor may, should’ve mentioned them earlier, and everybody has the monthly awards collections
-
If this goes how I plan, I could be lined up for a ton of stubs

Yeah, besides being collection rewards, the other thing that makes these cards skyrocket is events, and you know there will be a post season event right around the corner, where only teams that make the playoffs can be used (and the White Sox are vitual a shoe-in).......that 91 Switch Hitting, sweet swinging
Yoan Moncada in going to go up...A LOT......still can get him at near quick sell value! -
Absolutely
-
Omg he’s going for 5200 right now
-
-
To be fair, the reason Joc is going for so much is that he’s one of the few sellable players for the Shohei collection. The other ones will increase in value but it’s hard to imagine they get anywhere near the 42k that Joc is.

This is true, but look at the POTM cards that were also in the innings programs. Because they can be used for Mookie, that all shot from at quick sell for months to 50K overnight, and are still there........not sure players like Moncada will get that high, but there is little to no risk at buying near quick sale.

Oh my god. Nomar Masada 85 from 1st inning is going for 60k
-
Edman is there too! Does this prove my point?
-
Everybody buy these classics. Check them out in the market
-
yes they will all get a bump, but like mentioned above - Joc goes into the Ohtani collection and at 42k, he is still cheaper than the mid tier cards

The only reason why Pederson’s price sky rocketed was because of the Homerun Derby/ ASG collection. Lets not think we’re reinventing the wheel here

Read above comments, and, these classics for the 5th inning are gonna be used for collections too. And, if we get some sort of finest collection later, Vogel Bach could be a part of it

Speaking of these, i would love a future stars of Ohtani from 2018 and Bo Bichette, Fernando Tatis, Eloy Jimenez from 2019
