Is there any tips on finishing moments?
-
I do not know why I have so much difficulty with them, the moment could be ok rookie but I can't get a single hit. I can hit a deep gap shot and the player has such a slow start off the plate still holding the bat that any chance of a double with their already low speed is impossible. Also I find the CPU refuses to advance bases when they have a clear opportunity to stranding me on first when I need XBH. All this after losing an at bat opportunity due to being hit by a pitch or walked. Is there a method to cheese these or anything.

If I get stuck on something, I usually just ask my 12 year old to do it for me. Cost like $5 for 2 moments.

I do not have 1 of those lying around. Maybe it is time I start having children just so I can compete in the show

Directional hitting, aim left stick up, power swing only. Swing only at pitches middle/upper third.

I primarily use power swing on all the rookie and vet moments. The pci is so huge it can be difficult to square up the ball. Shrinking it with Power actually helps me.

Dont take ball 4 swing at balls and try to foul them to get another pitch.

Yeah, this is how I got 9 dongers and a triple in the two Clemente multi-game moments. Up until those two Zone did me just fine, but Directional is the way.

Dingers is the plural. Dongers was an icing covered cupcake that didnt do well and they stopped making over 20 years ago.

Just wait for your pitches in all honesty. Even in Rookie or Vet, they dont throw meatballs ALL the time. Just see where your hot zone is and wait the pitch there.

Here's what I do on top of the advice already given; if it's a single at-bat moment, I attempt it 10 times. If it's a full-game moment, I attempt it 5 times. If I haven't completed it by then, I move on to something else and come back later. It helps keep my brain from eating itself. I promise you; you'll get them done.
