The MLB 21 Play vs. CPU Uniform Glitch, Explained

Before I've complained that there is a glitch with the uniforms when you play at HOME with your Diamond Dynasty squad against a CPU-controlled MLB team in a 9-inning "play vs.cpu" game. This glitch causes the majority of the 30 MLB clubs you can play against to wear anything but their regular road uniforms. They wear flashback, alternate, and BP home and road uniforms, but the problem is especially bad when the CPU MLB team wears flashback home uniforms with a white-on-white combination. My team has your expected white on white (white jersey on white pants) home uniforms, and it's had to know who is who, especially when base running.
To be clear, this DOES NOT involve the uniforms that you can collect in packs and things like that. These uniforms are the uniforms that these teams had at launch—you can view them here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YdO9fSM16Mo&t=233s
It happened in MLB 18, but didn't in MLB 19 or MLB 20. But it's back. It's still gone unaddressed, so I just submitted a detailed bug report in the hopes that something is done. Here is the list of teams that this glitch happens with:
Orioles— BP HOME (orange on white)
Rays— HOME 2006 (white on white, with green sleeves)
Blue Jays— HOME 2006 (white on white)
White Sox— BP HOME (black on white pinstripes)
Tigers— 1905 Road (navy blue on navy blue)
Indians— BP HOME (dark blue on white)
Royals— BP HOME (blue on white)
Twins— 2002 HOME (white w/pinstripes on white w/pinstripes)
Athletics— BP HOME (green on white)
Astros— Alternate HOME 2000 (white on white)
Rangers— HOME 2014 (white on white)
Angels— BP HOME (red on white)
Phillies— BP HOME (red on white)
Marlins— HOME 2012 (white on white)
Braves— Alternate Road (dark blue on gray)
Cardinals— Alternate Road (light blue on light blue)
Pirates— BP HOME (black on white)
Cubs— 1902 Road (gray on gray)
Brewers— BP HOME (blue & yellow on white w/pinstripes)
Reds— HOME 1999 (white w/pinstripes & red sleeves on white w/pinstripes)
Rockies— 1993 Road (gray on gray)
Dodgers— 1915 Road (gray w/pinstripes on gray w/pinstripes)
Giants— BP HOME (black on white)
Diamondbacks— HOME 2007 (white on white)
Padres— Digital Camo 2006 (Camo on khaki? Or something?)The only teams that show up to your home ballpark wearing their regular road unis are the Red Sox, Yankees, Mariners, Nationals, and Mets.

Anyone else find this issue annoying?

SDS gives them different uniforms, sometimes they change up what they wear in different updates or uniform releases.

I'm not talking about the uniforms you can collect from headliner packs and things like that. I'm talking about the uniforms that all 30 teams had in the game at launch.

I just want them in regular uniforms and not crappy bp ones. or even a uni select for the cpu team so you could choose what they are in

Agree. The Orioles, Phillies, and Angels BP unis are very loud and distracting.

You don’t like those? Add some neon green and highlighter blue and now you are talking. I’ve never noticed this jersey thing. I’m lazy so I have default jerseys. So my home jerseys are gray, road are black

Yikes, neon green is so loud it will blind you quicker than a solar eclipse.
