Playing Online Sucks

When everyone you face is averaging 15+ K's with Ohtani, deGrom, Cabrera and Crochett the game is broken SDS. I can pick the pitch, pick the location, swing as fast as I can and I am still late.
I am playing games where my and my opponent do not break 9 hits between the two of us and the strikeout totals show that fastballs are just too fast.
Add on the fact that I lost a game that would have taken me to CS because my catcher got locked in a throwing motion and allowed my opponent to score from third. The next batter came up and grounded to Chipper at third who threw the ball in the dirt at first. My first baseman picked the ball up to throw home and threw it in the stands.
With all the content that gets dropped I can't do everything and fit in 40 online games to make a run at WS. I think I had to go 13-2 or 14-2 to even get to that game. I am 22-10 online and 3 or 4 of those were gamed being dropped early in the game cycle. I have no idea how elite players hit with balls moving like they are in this game.

My last two ranked games I had 22 Ks with DeGrom and 24 combined Ks in 11 innings with Oswalt, Soto and Lee Smith. Pretty wild.

The game in general is imo boring. Nothing wrong with it, just not any fun.

Idk why but I played another ranked game, this one on legend.
Scraped out a 3-2 win but both my opponent and I had squared up swings that just didn’t produce anything...felt like we were swinging with wiffle ball bats at times.
Hardly any fun when the game rarely rewards your swings on the hardest levels.

Talk about it. I threw a wild pitch and it bounced off of my catcher and into the outfield. Then when in a run down my third base man froze and he advanced home.

If you want games that are fun do casual online or head to head non DD. There it's not about ranking and exploiting the game. The opponent actually thinks like a baseball manager thus providing a good game of baseball.

I started doing this. Games are definitely more enjoyable for the most part. Plus if you lose who cares

i dont know man. I think 21 is the best game since 17.

The thread encompasses this game. It is the pinnacle of poor online gaming experiences for sure.
